COLLEGE STATION -- As anticipation continues to build, Saturday can't come fast enough for many fans and the same could said for the coaches and the players.
Texas A&M has three more days of preparation before facing Stephen F. Austin Saturday night.
You'd think practices leading up to the game would be slower than the games themselves, but Aggie head coach Mike Sherman says the opposite is true.
"We try to practice, and I talk to them all the time that practice is the game. In all actuality sometimes the game is even a little slower than it is faster in a relationship to our performance," said Sherman.
"We practice a lot of situations, we go against one's versus one's a lot, and we always start practice and end practice in a competitive speed good-on-good, fast-on-fast type of drill."

When you play power-houses like the "LumberJacks" I would assume the games would be slower.Hey Joe..your first sentence..is it in code?
Let's hope the coach speek goes away faster too!! Honest, hard fighting players is what we need. If the Ags put in the hard work in the off season and we catch some breaks I think a conference crown will follow. & then increased ticket prices
