A&M'S FRONTCOURT RANKED AMONG NATION'S BEST

COLLEGE STATION -- Texas A&M will have one of the nation's best frontcourts this season, according to collegehoops.net.

With the return of senior Joseph Jones (6-9), sophomore Bryan Davis (6-9) and sophomore Chinemelu Elonu (6-10), along with the addition of freshmen DeAndre Jordan (7-0) and Denzel Bowles (6-10), the Aggies could be a dominant team inside.

The website ranks the A&M frontcourt as the ninth-best in the nation and the best in the Big 12.

"Despite the loss of Antanas Kavaliauskas, the Aggies will still have a
formidable duo up front with Jones and Jordan," the website wrote earlier
this week. "Jones declared for the NBA Draft, but made the smart decision by
returning to school. He is very strong and is difficult to stop once he gets
position on the block. Jones also has a decent shooting touch from the
mid-range. Jordan is one of the top incoming centers in the country. He can
score inside, and is also adept at getting offensive rebounds and putbacks.
Davis has shown flashes of his potential."

Collegehoops.net's top 10 frontcourts:
1. North Carolina State
2. Stanford
3. California
4. Louisville
5. Georgetown
6. North Carolina
7. UCLA
8. Arkansas
