COLLEGE STATION -- From a postgame tirade to secret newsletters and rumors that the coach is about to be fired, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M have faced ugly distractions in the last two weeks.

Now its time for football as the Cowboys and Aggies play
tomorrow in College Station with sole possession of first place in
the Big 12 South at stake.

OSU is 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the conference while A&M is 4-1
and 1-0.

The teams have handled the distractions well.

A week after OSU coach Mike Gundy blew up at a reporter over a
column about quarterback Bobby Reid the Cowboys routed Sam Houston State 39-3.

And last week after news that Aggie coach Dennis Franchione gave inside information to boosters who paid $1,200, A&M beat Baylor
34-10.
