Jesper Leads Texas Open

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Jesper Parnevik is on the verge of his first
PGA Tour title in nearly seven years. He shot a four-under-par 66
today for a three-stroke lead heading into the final round of the
Texas Open.
The 42-year-old Swede is at 18-under-par after opening rounds of
61 and 65 at the LaCantera Golf Club Resort Course. His last PGA
title came at the 2001 Honda Classic.
Fellow Swede Mathias Gronberg is second at 15-under after a 65.
Texan Justin Leonard, a two-time Texas Open winner, is at 14-under
after a 64.
