The Blinn football team scored a pair of late touchdowns to salt away a 42-to-21 win over Trinity Valley Saturday afternoon at Brenham's Spencer Stadium.

The seventh-ranked Buccaneers dominated the first 19 minutes of the ballgame, building a 21-to-0 advantage.

The Cardinals closed within a touchdown in the second half, trailing 28-to-21.

But, the Bucs ran two interceptions back for touchdowns late in the contest to account for the 21 point victory margin.

The Blue Crew is now 5-&-1 for the year.

The defending NJCAA champs play NEO in Miami, Oklahoma next Saturday.
