IRVING, Texas - Texas A&M senior Joseph Jones has been named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team in a vote of the league's coaches.

A&M junior Josh Carter and freshman DeAndre Jordan were named to the honorable mention squad.

Jones is a two-time second-team All-Big 12 pick and averaged 13.4 points and 6.8 rebounds last season. Carter led the nation in three-point percentage and Jordan is regarded as one of the top 10 recruits in the country.

Joining Jones on the first team are Baylor's Curtis Jerrells, Kansas'
Darrell Arthur and Brandon Rush, Nebraska's Aleks Maric and Texas' D.J. Augustin.

Other honorable mention picks are Baylor's Aaron Bruce, Baylor, Colorado's Richard Roby, Colorado, Kansas' Mario Chalmers and Sherron Collins, Kansas State's Michael Beasley and Bill Walker, Oklahoma State's Marcus Dove and Texas Tech's Martin Zeno.
