Titans Boot Texans

HOUSTON (AP) - Rob Bironas kicked an NFL-record eight field
goals and Tennessee needed every one of them in a 38-36 road
victory at Houston.
Bironas made good from 29 yards out as time expired, leading the
Titans to their fourth win in six games this season.
The final boot foiled a spirited comeback attempt by Houston.
The Texans scored 29 points in the fourth quarter, capped by a
53-yard touchdown pass from Sage Rosenfels to Andre' Davis that
gave them a 36-35 lead with 57 seconds to play. Rosenfels tied an
NFL record with four TD passes in the fourth quarter.
The Titans faced a third-and-10 at their own 37 when Kerry
Collins found Roydell Williams on a 46-yard pass that set up the
winning kick.
Collins started in place of an injured Vince Young, who was
active and watched the game from the sidelines. He went 25-of-42
for 280 yards.
Rosenfels, who entered the game after Matt Schaub got hurt,
finished 22-of-35 for 290 yards.
Houston falls to 3-and-4 on the year.
