A.P. Poll Stable At The Top

UNDATED (AP) - The top three remain the same in the latest
Associated Press college football poll.
Top-ranked Ohio State picked up 59 of 65 first-place votes
following yesterday's 37-17 win over Penn State. Boston College
stays number-two, thanks to two touchdowns in the last four minutes
of Thursday's 14-10 victory at Virginia Tech. Third-ranked LSU
still holds the number-three spot but has a 3-1 edge over the
Eagles in first-place votes.
Fourth-ranked Oregon is followed by Oklahoma, Arizona State,
West Virginia, Kansas, Missouri and Georgia. Virginia Tech is 11th,
ahead of Hawaii, Southern Cal, Texas and Michigan.
Connecticut cracks the poll for the first time ever, settling
into the 16th position with yesterday's win over South Florida.
Number-17 Alabama is followed by Florida, Auburn and South Florida.
Boise State, Wake Forest, South Carolina, Tennessee and Clemson
round out the top 25.
