COLLEGE STATION, Texas- Senior forward Elisabeth Jones was named to the 2007 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District women's soccer first team, the association announced today.
Jones, a history major from Lexington, Ky. has maintained a 3.98 GPA while helping the Aggies to their fourth consecutive Big 12 regular season title. On the field, Jones has logged playing time in all 18 of A&M’s matches, starting 11 and registering four goals and three assists, including a hat-trick against the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers.
Members of the all-district first team will move on to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America ballot.
