Two traditional volleyball powers faced off in Brenham Friady night and Columbus denied Caldwell a trip to the Class 3A Regional Tournament with a four game win.
The Lady Hornets took game one behind a pair of monster kills by Brianna Haynes.
But the Cardinals came back to win the next three games.
The 24-26, 25-19, 25-17, 25-14 victory sends the Cards to the regional semifinal at Bryan High School.
Caldwell ends its year at 28-&-12.
