COLLEGE STATION -- The Texas A&M equestrian team will close its fall season with a pair of undefeated showdowns with Big 12 rivals this weekend in Kansas and Oklahoma.

The Aggies (5-0) will first face Kansas State (3-0) at 9:30 a.m. at Fox
Creek Farm in Manhattan, Kan. Kansas State toppled overall national champion South Carolina 13-7 less than two weeks ago, thanks to a 9-1 romp on the western side. They also have wins over South Dakota State (11-5) and Baylor (14-6).

Kansas State handed the Aggies their only road loss of the season last year, a 10-9 defeat on Mar. 4. A&M had defeated KSU, 14-8, a week earlier in College Station.

The following day, A&M will face arguably their biggest rival in Oklahoma State (3-0) at 11 a.m. at Animal Science Arena in Stillwater. The Cowgirls also beat the national champion Gamecocks, 16-3, on Oct. 27. OSU has also beaten Tennessee-Martin (16-4) and Baylor (20-4).

The Aggies and Cowgirls faced off three times last year with A&M winning two of the three match-ups. After dropping a 16-16 tiebreaker in College Station on Nov. 5 of last year, the Aggies responded by mounting a monumental comeback at the last possible second to defeat OSU, 14-12, on Mar. 3 in Stillwater. A&M also beat OSU for The Classic title in College Station to earn the right to be called the best team in the conference last season.
