College Station - Texas A&M students with a valid ID will be admitted free to the first and second-round games of the Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off on Tuesday and Wednesday at Reed Arena.

As an NCAA-sponsored event, the games were not a part of the students' all-sports ticket packages. But first-year Head Coach Mark Turgeon paid $10,000 to provide the free tickets. There will not be an online lottery registration for the NIT games, but students will get credit for attending.

On Tuesday, UTEP meets Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 5 p.m., followed by the A&M-Oral Roberts game at 8 p.m. The losers of those games will meet in the consolation game on Wednesday at 5 p.m. with the winners playing in the regional finals at 8 p.m.

The winner advanced to the first two rounds Nov. 21-23 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Doors open each day at 4 p.m. at the North and South entrances to Reed Arena.
