Oklahoma State's Bowman to miss final 2 games of regular season

STILLWATER, OK -- Oklahoma State wide receiver Adarius Bowman will miss the rest of the regular season with a knee injury.

Bowman is OSU's leading receiver with 61 receptions for 932
yards and seven touchdowns this season. He injured his right knee
when he was hit by Kansas cornerback Aqib Talib after he made a
catch for a 3-yard loss in Saturday's 43-28 loss to the Jayhawks.

Bowman is also 18th in the nation with an average of more than
93 receiving yards per game and he's considered a top NFL draft
prospect.

Coach Mike Gundy says the injury is not severe but Bowman is out
for the year.

Gundy says it's possible Bowman could return if the Cowboys win
a sixth game and qualify for a bowl game.

Oklahoma State closes the regular season with road games at
Baylor this Saturday and at Number Three Oklahoma on November 24th.
