Poth, the three-time defending champion, has ended Centerville's run at the UIL state volleyball tournament.
The Pirettes swept the Lady Tigers, 31-29, 25-14, and 25-15 in the Class 2A semifinals.
Centerville ends its best season ever at 47-&-1.
Iola plays Kopperl in the Class 1A semi-finals Friday morning at 11.
