COLLEGE STATION, Texas- Texas A&M senior Elisabeth Jones was named to the 2007 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America women's soccer second team, the association released Tuesday.

Jones, a history major from Lexington, Ky. has maintained a 3.98 GPA while helping the Aggies to their fourth consecutive Big 12 regular season title. During her senior campaign Jones appeared in all 24 of the Aggies’ games, making 13 starts and registering her first career hat-trick. Jones closed out the season with six goals and three assists. She also earned all-tournament honors for her play during the 2007 Big 12 Soccer Championship in San Antonio.
