The Blinn College women's and men's basketball teams won their conference openers against Kilgore College.
The women's team defeated the Lady Rangers 71-59 to improve to 6-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
The men defeated the Rangers 77-69 to also improve to 6-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
