HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- Shamir McDaniel and Ryan Bright each
had a double-double to lead Sam Houston State past Fresno State
68-57.
McDaniel had 13 points and 11 rebounds. Bright added 11 points
and a game-high 14 boards for the Bearkats (4-0).
DeLuis Ramirez led Sam Houston with 14 points, and James Barrett
was the fourth player in double figures with 11.
Fresno trailed by five at halftime but pulled within a point at
36-35 early in the second half. Barrett answered with a layup to
keep Sam Houston in front.
