Briles Interviews With Baylor

DALLAS -- Houston coach Art Briles today interviewed with
Baylor about the school's coaching vacancy.
Briles, who has led the Cougars to four bowls in five seasons,
returned to Houston after meeting with Baylor athletic director Ian
McCaw in Dallas.
McCaw refused comment late today when reached via cell phone.
The Associated Press reports Briles has not been offered the
job, but Briles still appears to be a front-runner to replace Guy
Morriss.
Morriss was fired November 19th, after going 18-40 overall.
Baylor has had 12 straight losing seasons
Briles is 34-28 in five seasons at Houston.
The Cougars (8-4) have already accepted an invitation to play in
the Texas Bowl on December 28th in Houston against an undetermined
Big 12 opponent.
