BRENHAM -- For the fifth consecutive season and the seventh overall a Blinn Volleyball player was named National Junior College Athletic Association All American.

Lina Vanegas a sophomore middle blocker from Medellin, Colombia was named First Team All America team for the 2007 season.

Vanegas was also named to the All Tournament team at the NJCAA National Tournament and was named top blocker at the 2007 and 2005 NJCAA National Volleyball Tournament.
