Suspended Texas Football Players Jones, Henry Indicted

AUSTIN -- Suspended Texas football players Andre Jones and
James Henry have been indicted on felony charges for their alleged
involvement in a July robbery.

Jones, a freshman defensive tackle, was indicted on four counts
of robbery.

Henry, a freshman running back and safety, was indicted for
knowingly destroying or concealing stolen items.

Texas coach Mack Brown suspended both players after their
arrests following the alleged July 27th home invasion.

Bill Hines, Henry's attorney, told the Austin-American Statesman
that his client was looking forward to clearing his name in court.
An attorney for Jones declined comment.

Former Texas safety Robert Joseph also faces aggravated robbery
charges stemming from the alleged incident. He had already been
dismissed from the team after his arrest on a separate burglary
charge in June.

Seventeenth-ranked Texas is awaiting a bowl invitation.
