Southern Cal has won the NCAA women's soccer championship.
The Women of Troy have beaten Florida State 2-0 at Texas A&M's Aggie Soccer Stadium.
It is the first title for the USC women.
Marihelen Tomer and Janessa Currier scored goals for the Trojans (20-3-2) who had never advanced past the second round
before this season.
Florida State (18-6-3) was shut out for just the second time
this season.
