HOUSTON -- Mario Williams had three and a-half sacks and Sage Rosenfels accounted for two touchdowns as the Houston Texans whipped Denver 31-13.

Williams extended his sack streak to a team-record five straight
games. He has nine sacks during the streak, giving him 13 for the
season.

Rosenfels put the Texans ahead to stay by running five yards for
a touchdown on the first series of the game. Rosenfels added a
four-yard scoring pass to Andre Johnson that put Houston ahead
24-13 in the fourth quarter.

Rosenfels was 16-of-27 for 200 yards and one interception as the
Texans improved to 7-and-7, tying a team record for victories. Ron
Dayne and Vonta Leach each had touchdown runs for Houston.

Jay Cutler passed for 254 yards and a touchdown, but the Broncos
managed just 72 rushing yards on 20 carries.

The outcome drops the Broncos to 6-and-8, giving the San Diego
Chargers a chance to clinch the AFC West with a win against Detroit
Sunday.
