Rodriguez Takes Over At Michigan

ANN ARBOR, MI -- Rich Rodriguez has been introduced as the new head coach at Michigan. The former West Virginia coach said it was difficult to leave the Mountaineers for the Big-10 school.

Of his abrupt departure from Morgantown, Rodriguez said what's
in the past is in the past.

Rodriguez built the West Virginia program into a Big-East
powerhouse and finished his career there with a record of
60-and-26.

The 44-year old is the second coach hired from West Virginia by
Michigan. Rodriguez now joins former Mountaineers' basketball coach
john Beilein on the Ann Arbor, Michigan, campus.
