Katy Wins Fifth State Title

SAN ANTONIO -- Bo Levi Mitchell threw three touchdown passes, including a Hail Mary on the last play of the first half, to lead Katy past Pflugerville 28-7 in the Class Five-A Division Two championship game tonight in San Antonio.
Mitchell's 45-yard Hail Mary toss to Brian Rowe started a
28-point spurt by Katy in less than seven minutes, including a
66-yard touchdown run by Aundre Dean, who had 221 yards on 30
carries.
The Tigers won their fifth state title with their second 16-0
season since 2000. It was their fourth title in the last decade.
Pflugerville (12-4) is 0-2 in title games after losing in its first
appearance since 1970.
