LANDOVER, Md. (AP) - A season-ending four-game winning streak
has put the Washington Redskins in the playoffs.
Todd Collins outplayed an ineffective Tony Romo as the Redskins
knocked off Dallas 27-6. Collins completed 22 of his 31 passes for
244 yards, including a 42-yard touchdown pass to Santana Moss that
put Washington ahead 27-3 with about 12 minutes left.
Clinton Portis ran for 104 yards and a pair of touchdowns for
the Redskins, who played their way into the postseason by knocking
off Minnesota and the Cowboys in their final two games.
Romo was just 7-of-16 for 86 yards and an interception before
leaving the game following the Cowboys' first series of the second
half. The 9-and-7 Redskins also held Dallas to one rushing yard on
Washington will visit Seattle in the NFC wild-card game next
Dallas has a bye week before hosting an NFC divisional game. The
Cowboys end the regular season 13-3.
