Rangers Land Bradley

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers today added Milton Bradley to their 40-man roster.
The free agent outfielder -- who's coming off knee surgery --
passed a physical last month and the team announced a one-year
deal.
There was no need for a corresponding move since the Rangers had an open roster spot.
Bradley gets a base salary of 5.25 million dollars. He can earn
an additional 2.75 million in performance bonuses.
When the Rangers finalize their two-year contract with Japanese
pitcher Kazuo Fukumori, they will have to create a roster spot.
Fukumori was introduced as the team's new reliever December
14th, but details of the three million dollar deal have yet to be
finalized.
