OSU Loses Assistant Coach

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State defensive line coach Nelson Barnes is no longer with the Cowboys football program.
OSU spokesman Gavin Lang confirms Nelson is no longer on the
coaching staff but would not say whether Nelson was fired.
Nelson has spent the past three seasons at Oklahoma State and
has two years remaining on his contract.
Nelson coached during the Insight Bowl on Monday as the Cowboys
beat Indiana 49-33.
Barnes is a North Texas graduate.
He's also been an assistant at his alma mater, Missouri Western,
Western Illinois, Kansas State, Texas, Nebraska, Nebraska Wesleyan
and North Dakota State.
