NEW YORK (AP) - New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been named the NFL's Most Valuable Player by The Associated Press.
Brady and the Patriots became the first team to finish an NFL
regular season 16-and-0. He set a league record with 50 touchdown
passes while completing 68.9 percent of his passes for 4,806 yards.
Brady also helped the Pats set NFL record with 75 touchdowns and
589 points. He becomes the first Patriot selected NFL MVP, drawing
49 of 50 votes from a nationwide panel of media members. Green Bay
quarterback Brett Favre (fahrv) drew the other vote.
