LOS ANGELES (AP) - Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili
were the stars as San Antonio earned an 88-82 win over the Clippers in Los Angeles.
Duncan finished with 17 points and 17 rebounds for the Spurs,
who never led by more than eight the entire game. Duncan had 10
points, six rebounds and two steals during a 15-5 spurt after San
Antonio fell behind 37-27.
Parker delivered 14 of his 26 points after halftime as the Spurs
won for only the sixth time in 13 road games.
Ginobili scored 12 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter after
missing San Antonio's previous five games with a sprained left
index finger.
Chris Kaman (KAY'-man) and rookie Al Thornton helped the
Clippers keep it close. Kaman finished with 20 points and 14
rebounds, while Thornton added 17 points and eight boards.
