ATLANTA --Executives with the Atlanta Falcons today met with Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett -- for the second time.
New Atlanta GM Thomas Dimitroff has indicated the Falcons may
have their man by the end of this week.
The Associated Press reports -- if that's the case -- Garrett
and former Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Rex Ryan would
appear to be at the head of the list.
Garrett yesterday spent more than six hours meeting with the
Baltimore Ravens about their head coaching vacancy.
Garrett's first interview with the Falcons was done in Dallas
while he prepared for the playoffs.
The Cowboys were upset by the New York Giants on Sunday.
Emmitt Thomas coached the final three games this season for
Atlanta after Bobby Petrino quit without even making it through the
first year of his five-year, 24 million dollar contract.
