SAN ANTONIO -- LeBron James scored 27 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat San Antonio 90-88 in the teams' first meeting since the Spurs swept the NBA finals last season. Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 17 points for Cleveland, which has won three in a row.
Manu Ginobili scored 31 for the Spurs. Tony Parker added 23 points but missed two free throws with 29.4 seconds to play that would have tied the game.
Tim Duncan scored 20 points and had 11 rebounds for San Antonio,
which dropped to 5-and-5 in its last 10 games.
