Missouri Suspends Five Players

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Missouri basketball coach Mike Anderson is
suspending five players indefinitely following a brawl that left
top scorer Stefhon Hannah with a broken jaw.
Anderson is saying only that the players are being suspended for
a violation of team rules.
Columbia police say several teammates were with Hannah when he
was attacked outside a downtown nightclub early Sunday.
Anderson is suspending guard Jason Horton and forwards Marshall
Brown, Darryl Butterfield and Leo Lyons, along with Hannah.
Hannah has returned home to Chicago and is expected to miss at
least four to six weeks following surgery.
The school says the other players are suspended from tomorrow's
home game against Nebraska, and their status will be evaluated
later.
