Texas A&M Hits The Road For Two Starting With Iowa State

DES MOINES, IA -- If Iowa State intends to make a push toward the top of the Big 12 standings -- this is the week to do it.

The Cyclones (13-9) are 3-4 in conference play, with all their
Big 12 losses coming on the road.

But Iowa State has a chance to make a splash in the conference
race this week when hosts a pair of top 25 teams.

First up is Number 18 Texas A&M on Tuesday, followed by Number
12 Texas on Saturday.

The Cyclones, who played without Wesley Johnson, committed 20
turnovers in a 64-56 loss at Nebraska on Saturday.

Iowa State coach Greg McDermott says Johnson's status for
Tuesday will be a game-time decision.

Johnson, the team's leading scorer, aggravated an ankle injury
he suffered earlier this season.
