BATON ROUGE, LA -- LSU has fired basketball coach John Brady.

Brady led the Tigers to the Final Four in 2006, finishing off a
27-and-9 campaign. But LSU fell to 17-and-15 with a 5-and-11
conference record the next season and things have just gotten
worse. The Tigers are 8-and-13 this season.

Brady leaves Baton Rouge as the third-winningest coach in the
university's history. His 192-and-139 record also includes two
first-place finishes in the Southeastern Conference.
