LAWRENCE, Kan. - Darrell Arthur scored 23 points, and
Russell Robinson had 22 as No. 4 Kansas pulled away from stubborn
Baylor to take a 100-90 win.
Despite its second-highest point total of the season, Kansas was
0-for-9 from behind the arc and failed to hit a 3-point bucket for
the first time since 1999 - a span of 271 games.
The Jayhawks trailed by as many as seven points in the first
half as Baylor guards Curtis Jerrells and LaceDarius Dunn kept
hitting from the outside and silencing the typically loud sellout
Baylor had 12 3-pointers, including five by Dunn and four by
Jerrells, who totaled 30 points.
