Buc Baseball Splits With Seminole

In a double header against Seminole State University (OK), the Buccaneer Baseball team split with an opening game loss followed by a second game rout.

In the first game after going down 7-0 in the 4th the Bucs' bats came alive with a 5 run inning of its own but fell short in the end 5-7.

James Brandhorst was the losing pitcher.

In the second game of the day Trey Johnson was the winning pitcher in the 12-3 decision.

Zach Leonhardt went 2 for4 with 2 2run homeruns and 4 RBI's.

Sophomore Layton Hiller went 3 for 3 with a homerun and 3 RBI's.

The Bucs return to action with the Leroy Dreyer Classic begining at 1:00pm versus Grayson.

The tournament schedule was changed because of the incoming weather.
