RTC Silences Coolidge

Round Top-Carmine rolled into round three of the high school girls' basketball playoffs with a 39-to-31 win over Coolidge Friday night at Rosebud-Lott High School in Travis.

The Cubettes were led by Classroom Champion Breanna Marburger's 16 points.

Evonne Simms paced the Lady Yellowjackets with 14 points.

RTC is now 25-&-4 for the season.

The Cubettes move on to the Class A Division II Regional Quarterfinals Tuesday night at A&M Consolidated.

Round Top-Carmine will face Leggett at 6pm.
