COLLEGE STATION -- The Texas A&M women’s tennis match against Wake Forest on Saturday has been changed to a 2:30 p.m. start at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.
The match, originally slated for a 1:30 p.m. start, was pushed back an hour to allow fans to attend the A&M women’s basketball game against Baylor at 1 p.m. at Reed Arena, as well as the tennis match.
A&M is 5-3 overall and ranked No. 32 in the nation after going 1-2 in a three-match series at UNLV last weekend. The Aggies defeated the host Rebels, 4-3, but then fell to then-No. 32 Florida International, 4-3, and No. 14 Fresno State, 5-2.
Wake Forest is 3-2 and ranked No. 19. The Demon Deacons are coming off a 4-3 victory against Indiana on Saturday.
The Aggies are making their first home appearance since a season-opening doubleheader on Feb. 2. Following the season opener, A&M was on the road for six consecutive matches.
