Tim Harris roped an RBI single to right driving Cody Rich home as the Owls batted around in the opening frame.
The Bulldogs scratched for five runs in the top of the third inning.
J.C. Clay's liner off the shortstop's glove plated Frankie Medina and Nick Lowery during that rally.
The game was called after five-and -a-third innings because of the two hour time limit.
