BRYAN -- The Bryan boys gymnastics team won every event Friday at their Invitational meet and claimed the team title by over 2 points against Odessa Permian.
Matthew Kelly won the floor exercise and claimed the all around title while Enoch Rodriguez took first in the pommel horse. Isaac Rodriguez won the still rings and the high bar. Alex Reyes took gold in the parallel bars.
The only event the Vikings didn't have an individual winner was in the vault, where Odessa Permian's Matthew Martinez took home the top honor. Bryan was able the win the event because they were more consistent as a team.
On the girls side Kingwood won the title by .6 of a point over A&M Consolidated. The Tigers were paced by Abbie Thompson who was finished 4th in the all around. Bryan took 6th with Katelyn Lowe placing 8th in the all around.
