COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Oklahoma reserve Nyeshia Stevenson
will miss the Sooners' game Thursday night at 17th-ranked Texas A&M
with a right knee injury.
Oklahoma announced that Stevenson was injured during practice
Wednesday when another player stepped on her leg during a
rebounding drill.
X-rays were unable to confirm that she partially tore her
anterior cruciate ligament, and an MRI was planned for Friday to
further examine the knee.
Stevenson is the highest-scoring bench player and also the top
3-point shooter for the 11th-ranked Sooners. She averages 7.3
points and shoots 34 percent from 3-point range.
