NORMAN, OK -- The 11th-ranked Oklahoma women's basketball team is on the road to play at Number 17 Texas A&M tonight.
OU is trying to bounce back from a 15-point home loss to Texas
while the Aggies have won nine of their last 10 games.
Oklahoma will be without key reserve Nyeshia Stevenson who
suffered a partially torn anterior cruciate ligament in her right
knee during practice yesterday. Stevenson was hurt when another
player stepped on her leg during a rebounding drill.
The Sooners are 21-6 overall and in third place in the Big 12 at
11-4. A&M is 22-7 and tied for fourth in the league with Oklahoma
State at 10-5.
The top four teams in the regular season standings get a
first-round bye in the conference tournament.
Tip-off is at 7:30 tonight in College Station.
