KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Brandon Rush scored six points in a 15-4
run as Number 5 Kansas overcame a nine-point deficit and beat
Nebraska 64-54 tonight in the Big 12 tournament quarterfinals.
Kansas (29-3) was a 15-point favorite over a team it had beaten
10 straight times but trailed 27-22 at halftime.
Darnell Jackson scored the first basket of the second half,
Mario Chalmers made a long 3-pointer, and Nebraska (19-12) never
Sherron Collins led Kansas with 13 points and Jackson and
Chalmers had 12 each.
Ade Dagunduro had 13 points for Nebraska, Paul Velander had 12
points and Aleks Maric scored 10.
