Jim Furyk (FYOOR'-ihk) is among five golfers two shots back.
Included in that group was Ian Poulter, who aced the 170-yard 16th
hole to aid his scoring.
Tiger Woods is poised for a run at a fifth green jacket. Woods
shot even-par 72 in a round that included an eagle and two bogeys.
Woods says he feels good about how he played and "hit a lot of
good putts that just didn't go in." Woods is seeking his 14th
Phil Mickelson started with two birdies and finished 1-under par
along with a group that includes Retief (reh-TEEF') Goosen and
former Masters winner Mark O'Meara.
