Volleyball Concludes Spring with Maroon-White Scrimmage

COLLEGE STATION -- The Texas A&M volleyball team concludes its spring schedule by hosting the 2008 Volleyball Preview Saturday at G. Rollie White Coliseum.

The team will divide into maroon and white teams and scrimmage from 3-5 p.m. The scrimmage is free, and fans are encouraged to come watch the Aggies, who most recently defeated 2007 Final Four participant Southern California last weekend at the Texas Tornados Tournament in Houston.

Rosters and copies of the 2008 schedule will be distributed at the scrimmage.

The scrimmage will be part of a full day of activities offered by the Texas A&M athletic department:

10:45-12:15 p.m. Autograph session with the football team (G. Rollie)
12:30-1:30 p.m. State of the Aggies Address by Bill Byrne (Rudder Theatre)
2 p.m. Softball vs. Kansas (Aggie Softball Complex)
3 p.m. Fan Zone opens (Zone Plaza)
3-5 p.m. 2008 Volleyball Preview (G. Rollie)
4:30 p.m. Gates open (Kyle Field)
6 p.m. Football Maroon and White Game (Kyle Field)
Halftime Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band performance
Postgame Fireworks and light show display (Kyle Field)
