ST. LOUIS -- Lance Berkman hit two home runs, but it wasn't enough for Houston, as the Astros lost 3-2 to St. Louis on Saturday.
Skip Schumaker's RBI single in the bottom of the ninth won it
for the Cardinals.
The defeat snapped the Astros' six-game winning streak.
Houston took a 1-0 lead in the first on Kaz Matsui's first home
run of the season.
St. Louis took a 3-1 lead in the third, but the Astros tied it
with a Berkman homer in the fourth and another in the seventh.
Berkman has eight homers on the season.
