LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Chad Bettis earned his fourth victory of
the season -- helping lead Texas Tech to a 6-2 win over Oklahoma.
Oklahoma (27-17-1, 5-11-1 Big 12) took an early 1-0 lead in the
first when Jamie Johnson scored on Mike Gosse's RBI groundout.
Texas Tech's Wilie Rueda answered by scoring on a sacrifice fly
by Chris Richburg.
Chris Hall gave Texas Tech (21-24, 6-14) a 4-2 lead in the sixth
with an RBI double that scored Logan Leslie from second. Jason
Seefeld extended the lead in the eighth for the Red Raiders with a
home run over the left field wall.
Bettis (4-3) allowed just two runs on six hits and struckout two
during a career-high seven innings of work for the win. James
Leverton got his first save of the season, allowing just one hit
and striking out two in two innings.
