ST. LOUIS - Troy Glaus hit his first home run with
St. Louis and Albert Pujols also went deep in the
Cardinals' 5-1 clubbing of the Houston Astros.
Glaus connected off losing pitcher Brandon Backe (BA'-kee) for
his 16th and 17th RBIs to cap a four-run fifth inning.
The benches and bullpens emptied for the second straight day
without any punches being thrown. This happened after Backe threw a
pitch up and in to Yadier Molina.
Kyle Lohse pitched six innings for the win. He's
3-and-0. Kyle McClellan pitched the final three innings for his
first career save.
