CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Anthony Kim posted a five-shot win at the
Wachovia Championship to become the youngest winner on the PGA Tour in six years.
The 22-year-old Kim turned in a masterful performance that
brought comparisons to Tiger Woods, who is home recovering from
knee surgery and unable to defend his title at Quail Hollow Club.
Entering the final day of play with a four-shot lead, Kim
birdied the first hole and was never threatened on his way to a
3-under 69. He set the tournament record with a 16-under 272 total,
well ahead of a stacked field that included 18 of the world's top
Ben Curtis closed with a 65 to claim second-place money. Jason
Bohn finished third at minus-10 after carding a 1-under 71.
