DALLAS (AP) - Ryan Goins had five RBIs on two home runs and Nick Santos went 4-for-4 with two home runs to help Dallas Baptist
defeat Texas Tech 16-7.
Goins hit a two-run homer in the first inning and added a
three-run homer in the second to give Dallas Baptist (31-15) a 5-1
lead. Dallas Baptist added five more runs in the third.
The team had at least one run in each of the first seven
innings. Santos homered in the third and the seventh innings.
Jason Seefeld and Willie Rueda each had two RBIs for Texas Tech
Jared Stafford (2-0) got the win, striking out two and giving up
